Eddy Datubo, a business professional with in-depth experience in Strategy & Consulting, IT, Business Transformation and Programme/Project Management. Over the last 18 years, he has led and implemented several multi-million pound global projects, with several blue-chip companies and organisations within the Banking, Financial Services, Media, Retail, Consulting, IT and Oil & Gas Sectors, where he has achieved proven success. He holds a number of academic and industry certified qualifications’ including an MBA from Cranfield School of Management – one of Europe’s leading business schools. He is a certified Practitioner in Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and PRINCE 2 methodologies. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Memberships of professional associations include the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Cranfield Management Association (CMA), where he is a past Vice Chairman. Eddy started his career in the UK as a Project Manager in January 1994. In 2007, he joined J. Sainsbury PLC in as Project Manager before moving to IBM Consulting in August 1998. He left IBM Consulting in January 2000 to join Fujitsu PLC as a Senior Consultant in Programme Management. In September 2001, he took study leave to go on the MBA programme at Cranfield. On completion in September 2002, he joined Reuters PLC as Global Operations Manager responsible for Content, Media and Financial Services Programmes. He left Reuters in May 2007 went into full time consulting services, he has led several Change and Transformation Programmes for organisations such as Hoares Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, BP, Shell Nigeria and Ecobank (Nigeria/West Africa), Eddy possesses excellent people management and leadership skills.
He has a solid background in Strategic Change with a focus on; delivering new business initiatives, driving organisational change programmes, improving operational efficiency and generating long-term cost savings. He has a passion for music and sports – particularly football, fitness and golf, which he enjoys in his spare time.
